Sana Sellami BV is the controller of the personal data collected via this website, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
2. Which data we collect
We only collect what you actively share:
- Newsletterinschrijving: voornaam, e-mailadres.
- Contactformulier: naam, e-mailadres, telefoonnummer (optioneel), bericht.
- Sprekersaanvraag: naam, organisatie, e-mailadres, telefoonnummer, event type, date, location, audience, chosen keynote, message.
- Calendly bookings: via the Calendly link, your name, email address and chosen time are shared with Calendly and Sana Sellami BV.
- Technical data: via cookies and server logs, we may record IP address, browser type, language preference and pages visited. Zie de cookie policy for details.
3. What we use your data for
We only process your data for the purposes for which you provided it:
- Sending the newsletter. Once a month, sometimes less. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link at the bottom of every email.
- Reply to your question. A press question, speaker request or general query is answered at the email address you provided.
- Afspraken inplannen. Calendly uses your data to confirm the appointment and send reminders.
- Website verbeteren. Anonymized technical data helps us find errors and make the site faster.
We don't use your data for other purposes, and never sell it to third parties.
4. Legal basis
Personal data is processed on the basis of:
- Toestemming: voor nieuwsbriefinschrijving en optionele cookies.
- Performance of a contract: for contact forms, speaker requests and Calendly bookings.
- Legitimate interest: for functional cookies and server logs needed to run the website.
5. Who we share data with
We share your data with a limited number of external processors who help us run the website. These parties may only process your data according to our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.
- Mailchimp (Intuit Inc., US): for newsletter management.
- Calendly (Calendly LLC, US): for scheduling appointments.
- Google Fonts (Google Ireland Ltd., EU): for loading typefaces.
- YouTube (Google Ireland Ltd., EU): if you play a video on this site.
- Hosting provider: stores server logs.
Transfer outside the EU. Some processors (Mailchimp, Calendly) zijn gevestigd in de Verenigde Staten. We rely on the Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) as approved by the European Commission, or on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
6. How long we keep data
- Newsletterinschrijvingen: until you unsubscribe, plus 30 days for archive purposes.
- Contactberichten: maximaal 2 jaar na laatste contact, then deleted or anonymized.
- Calendly booking data: according to Calendly's retention periods (see their privacy policy).
- Server logs: maximum 30 days.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- Access your data.
- Onjuiste gegevens te laten corrigeren.
- Have your data erased ("right to be forgotten").
- Object to processing.
- Withdraw your consent to processing.
- Get a copy of your data in a common format (right to portability).
- Klacht in te dienen with the Data Protection Authority if you believe your rights have not been respected.

8. Security
We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse or unauthorized access. Our external processors (see point 5) meet the same standards.

This privacy policy may be amended in the future. The most up-to-date version is always on this page, with the date of the last update noted. Significant changes will also be announced in the newsletter.
